Headline of Article:_

Tropical Storm Erika Causes Massive Flooding, Landslides In Caribbean

Issue Date:AUGUST 27, 2015 4:09 PM
Section: international Page

Three Reasons why I chose this article (interest in subject, heard about it from a friend, etc.):

1) I think it is always really cool to watch the updates on how the storms are and yes the damage is bad but it is always be good to be updated.

 2) Another is that on the weather channel on my phone it had poped up and i had not know about it so i thought it would be nice to get some more information on it.

3) Lastly is that i think everyone needs to know about these storms to get some help to the places that need it and maybe one day it will be us that need the help.

Write a brief summary of the article:
This article is explaining all about the storm and where it has hit and been moving to. Also it has  informed us about how much rain and damage has happened east of the Caribbean.

Write TWO reactions you had about the article:

1) One i think that it is sad because some lost there lives in the storm and lots have lost their homes and businesses.

2) Maybe if they would of been prepared and now are preparing those that are going to be hit soon.

Write a direct quote from the article that you found intriguing/interesting:
"Tropical Storm Erika has caused extensive flooding and landslides on the eastern Caribbean island of Dominica, killing at least four people and cutting power and water to many residents."

List one connection I can make between this article and something else I know about (whether from personal experience, school, a book I have read, a movie I have seen, or anything else):

I would say this is something like all the hurricanes we have watch come in to the united states and ruin all the beaches and homes in the south.
